STEWART'S BURNBY HALL GARDENS & MUSEUM POCKLINGTON EAST YORKSHIRE PART 1

Burnby Hall Gardens & Museum. the lakes with a National Collection of Hardy Water Lilies, and the Stewart Museum were created by Major Percy Marlborough Stewart (1871-1962). They were decended from the Earls of Galloway and linked to the Spencer-Churchills.

All photos were taken by myself in June of this year 2008 there are 19 in all, two friends and myself spent some four to five hours here and at the Church on the Hill at Holme upon Spalding Moor, the photos from there will be posted later when sorted.

Hi Sara, you are welcome its a pleasure to show you around my part of this small world we live in. I was back in the gardens again today with my wife Patricia and it looked so different, Sat and listened to a brass band playing, made a wonderful Sunday.
