ABC WEDNESDAY B TAKE 2 = BRANDENDURG GATE/TOR & BODE MUSEUM

This is the final photo of the Brandenburg Gate/Tor the sun was on the other side that is how I managed to catch the light under the horses, at the time the gate was fenced off when all photos were taken it had to done through the fence, to be honest it looked a right mess but I saw beyond that and the beauty of this monument.

The Bode Museum was taken at 21:45 and I had to wait for the sun to come from behind another building, and you can see what that extra light did for the photo. No flash used and you will see that my hand was not that steady.

ABC WEDNESDAY = B = BERLIN = BRANDENBURG TOR

Brandenburg Tor or gate Berlin. All photos taken late in the evening between 20:30 and 22:00, even with the sun just going down it was so very Hot. You will notice that I have not shown the bottom of the gate/tor due to the rubbish left by a crowd of music and football fans.

PROJECT BLACK TAKE 3

The photo was taken on the pier looking out over the river Humber, the fish carving is one of many fish that form the fish trail around part of the city of Kingston upon Hull, this one is carved into the woodern planks and the black lines and black colour/color of the fish is the tar seeping out of the planks mixed with rain water from an earlier show.

NEW POPPY THAT I NEVER KNEW I HAD

The photo is of the same poppy taken yesterday the 9th July 2008 in my garden in East Yorkshire UK, Macro setting was not used the setting for my Camera was AV with the F setting at the lowest I could obtain with the fastest shutter speed, then waited and waited for the wind to drop.

It is the first poppy I have ever had! The seed must have either come from a bird or even blown in, at first I thought it was a weed but am glad I left it to grow as I had never seen this weed before, after a month it was clear that the leaves were of the poppy family, again when it opened yesterday I could not believe the colour/color, today I saw four more buds getting ready to open, hope you like them.
