These photos were taken last saturday the 17th January 2009. om the south bank of the river Humber at Barton, all round, under or near to the Humber Bridge. My camera is a Canon EOS 400D.

It looks a nice day but was very cold indeed!!!!

Great photos, Brian. I like old boats and I'm amazed at the bridge. Is it a suspension bridge like the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco?

Hello Willow, no not a suspension bridge.

Thank you for your kind comments, I will be posting some more soon from the North Bank.

Brian, you've done it again. Captured some quite artistic shots...that's quite a bridge. My faves are the one with the feathery plants in the foreground and the bridge behind...and also the boats seen through that amazing railing with the swooping design. Very nice.

Oh, and I forgot to mention - I like your new blog look. Have you considered adding a photo to the header??

Sara,Yes I have thought about adding a photo to the header, but so far have not worked out how to do that, due to my strokes I have to be shown how to do something first before it registers.

Thanks Brian
