Drive along Yorkshire Wolds July 2017

Journey from  Market Weighton to South Dalton through the Yorkshire Wolds past Kiplingcotes Station now sadly closed down many years ago!

Thank you for sharing this, Brian. It was so interesting to read the plaque about St. Helen's Well. I had forgotten that Constantine was crowned king in York! He was a long way from home. Those ancient peoples sure did travel long distances in their day. He and his mother are well known in the Orthodox Church. Your part of York is certainly lush and green and I enjoyed all the photos.

Dear Sara, thank for such lovely comments on my photos. I am indeed lucky to live here and have all this within 30 minutes drive, York itself in only an hour away as I never go by the main roads always the countryside for me.

Kind regards

Brian
