Firth of Clyde Scotland May 2010

Today we travelled up the Firth of Clyde a beautiful river. All I wanted to photograph was the river itself even if empty! So from the town of Largs to Inverskip and onwards to Gourock near Port Glasgow. There are only six photos from today as tiredness set in and my camera felt like a ton weight.

Hi Brian, Wonderful photos here! At first, I thought one of the rive pictures was actually shimmering--great clarity!

I'm glad you're feeling better now. I had wondered why you hadn't posted. The Dunure Castle pictures absolutely captivated me!

Brian each one offers us a different view and I enjoyed them. Especially the third one because of the beautiful colors in the water...even turquiose!....and I also liked the glimpses of white cottages on the shore in the distance. And how I'd love to be up on one of those sweeping meadows with the sheep (well, maybe not TOO close to the sheep!), but looking out over the water below watching the ships come and go!
