ABC WEDNESDAY ROUND 3 = H = HIGHLANDS OF SCOTLAND

This week is highland week around Loch Long and the scottish village of Arrochar just two miles west of Loch Lomond. The loch is tidel and the small building on the far side was used to test torpedos, but has been badly burnt since it closed. It was early morning when the photos with the low clouds were taken, no wind and fantastic refections.

The last four photos are of Arrochar church or kirk and what I think is interesting information within the church yard or cemetary, the light that fell on this church in the early morning was really made it look really beautiful, if you enlarge this one picture you will see what I am talking about, but all are best seen enlarged if you have time.

Marvellous reflections - I like how on one there is a single gull on the foreshore opposite the pier and on another the small boat seems to be perched on the mountain-top.

It has usually been raining whenever I've passed through Arrochar; glad you found a sunny spell to take these in.

A wonderful selection. Obvious Scotland has had rain, by the intensity of the green, sorry I am so late.

Thanks so much.
