Below are just four of the many birds and seals that are rescued by the santury just North of Maplethorpe Lincolnshire on the East Coast of England. They are starting at the top, A Snowy Owl, Kestrel, Eagle Owl and Seal. Taken on the 6th May 2009 by myself.......
I, have worked all my life, served in the army as a regular, get fed up with people who moan all the time but will not lift one finger to improve things or even help someone. I do voluntary work and love it.
I along with 4 other stroke survivors took a petition to Parliament in 1999.It succeeded but only with the help of a lot of dedicated people within the NHS, who cared and wanted what we stroke survivors desired. I worked and helped to set up stroke clubs in our area with my friends who are user/carer members, This is done without interference from the so called professionalorganisations. I am also a member of a few disability groups . I may be a bit of a pain to some who think they do a good job, but will not move on or change for the better.

All are great photos! LOVE the seal! My dd loves owls--I'll have to show this to her!
I'm so glad there is such a rescue center for these beautiful creatures. Those owls are very lovely...
Hope you are doing well, Brian. Glad to have you back on the blog again.

Wonderful photos, especially the owls! It's nice to see rescue centres for animals and birds to heal before going back into the wild.
