Last weekend the 25 to the 27 of March 2011 a group of stroke survivors from all over the UK met in Manchester for a get-together. This was my first time out with my cameras for some months and am I glad to be back and posting on my blog... Some travelled from the far North of Scotland, Southern England, Wales and a few from the Manchester area. The photos below are of the second day when we visited Chester, some went shopping and down to the river and as you can all see I went to the Cathedral and a Costa Coffee. Please read the interesting story of the little elephant. The last photo is a photo of a photo hanging in Costa Coffee and a colour negative!!

Hello Brian, it's good to see you back on the blog...I like the color negative effect in some of your photos. The elephant story was interesting...and the part about the 14th century sculpture in the church. I was surprised to see "Disney" however! But I guess they are everywhere these days, just like MacDonalds fast food restaurants, and Coca Cola!
Hi Sara, yes they are everywhere, MacDonalds, Costa Coffee in the same street as Disney, it's nice to be back... Have a nice weekend.
Brian
