Memorial to 158 Squadron RAF Lissett East Yorkshire

MEMORIAL TO 158 SQUADRON LISSETT EAST YORKSHIRE - UNVAILED SATURDAY 16TH MAY 2009

No matter how you look at the Memorial you can see the faces, and on each stature can be seen the names of the many who served and died. Enlarge the photos and the names can be read.

The Memorial stands on the road side just through the village of Lissett off the A165 Hull to Bridlington road.

The poppies were growing at the side of the Memorial on the day the photos were taken.

Thanks, Brian. You've helped me learn a little more about my father, Frank Dow Granger (Pilot June/July 1943).
